Cervantes 03:09
"I will chase this impulse to its inconclusive resolution. That is how you know that I am dumb. While wandering the treetops and the logarithmic dark I found a lovely cliff for us to jump off of. I've been so busy chasing windmills. Grim death was nipping at my heels. Your name in bright letters above my doorway. Pale ghost of all the love that I conceal. With eyes closed on the interstate I wish I could've died beside you. That is how you know that I am done. These portraits of a modern fool I sketch till I can barely stand it. You prophesied the joke that I've become. You were still busy chasing Jesus, these pills on my lips communion bread. I beg your saints to come forgive me forsaking the living for the dead. & last night was the first time in three weeks that I could hear you speaking. That is how I know that I am wrong. & Dulcinea's bright blue voice that creaks unending in the wood frames follows me still sleepless to the dawn. I've been so busy chasing windmills. Grim death is sleeping in my bed. Remember when we could find salvation from every hollow nightmare that we fled."

"So I have this re-occurring dream that God's drunk on The Mississippi street I'm from. He's facedown with his boots on. Still smiling but his suit's gone behind a broke down Piggly Wiggly in the slums. & He was thumbing Hemingway before the spirits broke his faith that day he decided he was done. All angel faced with irony he lifted himself up by his sleeves and solemnly he sung. "Oh I need you when my heaven's gone." Still spinning from the death of God I flipped my television on. Its pale blue beams the only light I know & you were sitting next to me: the only truth I've ever seen that doesn't somehow make me feel alone. That's when I knew I was in that dream. It's cartoon shapes engulfing me in easy and omnipresent lies. We watched the t.v. burst into flames, and all our dreaming did the same. Then through the smoke I swore I heard you say, "Oh I need you when my heaven's gone." So now I lay me down to sleep, and I pray your love my soul to keep, but all I hear is darkness creeping in & It's Nietzsche in his padded room. Beethoven's hands in silent gloom, and the universe collapsing with a grin. What bare and bawling sense are we? The crucifixion of our glee, that death itself is writing every hymn." While we sing, "Oh need you when my heaven's gone."

Edvard Munch 02:46
"Oh a nuclear winter or a tidal wave with a death so certain why do I remain? You take me home and turn me off with your mundane details and cynical thoughts. Trash can cities breeding neon slaves with an end so stupid why do I remain? Hate my job. Spent the rent. I can feel you leaving under every breath. You dream a genocide or a hurricane with an end so stupid why do I remain? You take me home and turn me on with your mundane details and cynical songs and I miss you some, but I hate your name with a pain so futile why do I remain? Hate my life. Miss my friends. Kiss you like oblivion when it finally ends."

Wandering Wesley thumbing through Bibles. Watching the children speechless. You and your arguments here on the sofa. You and your speeches to them. About finding salvation here in the bottle, here in the backroom we fled. Lies that you told me, words that were spoken last time I saw you were ash. The truth is that I am not coming back. I'm leaving and I am not coming back. Fallen like angels false like those prophets worthless we spoke of before. Not that it matters. When did it matter that you don't love me anymore. The truth is that I am not coming back. I'm leaving, and I am not coming back.

Ophelia 03:42
"Moses' voice, hollow and broken, lost in the storm of all of their eyes. If he could vanish into the darkness, into the rock face what waters might flow? I used to love you like a disaster. Oh like an evil. Oh like a flood. Over and over I've watched my kingdom savaged in silence drown in your arms. Ophelia, I have followed you back down, back down. Ophelia, I have followed you back down, back down. I've been haunting you all night, all night. Ophelia, I have followed you back down, back down."

Ophelia, where your ghost goes I go always softly down, and we like rogue planets orbit ourselves. I find you everywhere. I find you everywhere I am. Ophelia, where your ghost goes I go always softly down, our knowledge like coffins closed. & I dream this every night I do. & I dream you every night I do. I find you everywhere. I find you everywhere I am.
